Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden, a portable Naruto Gamecube game on the DS Later this month Tomy is releasing a 3D Naruto fighting game on the Nintendo DS. While this is a “new” game, Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden looks more like a tweaked version of the Gamecube series on the DS. Instead of cel shaded models on the Gamecube the characters look a little blockier on the DS. Also the backgrounds have less going, but for a DS game Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden looks on par with other 3D games on the DS. A change in the fighting system is the bottom pad has items to use. You can instantly recover life by drinking milk or boost your defense with a chuunin vest. Besides the addition of items Naruto: Shinobi Retsuden looks like it has the same combos the Geiktou Ninja Taisen series used in each installment. Look below to see pictures Naruto’s combo.
